Elroy “EJ” Johnson serves as the Education & Programs Manager for NAMED Advocates, where he leverages his diverse professional background to design and create impactful educational initiatives around disability justice and awareness while serving as the project manager for the Rethinking Language in Science project. Drawing upon his experience as a former educator, journalist, and social media historian, EJ is dedicated to developing programming that informs, engages, and mobilizes advocates for meaningful change within their community. He holds a Masters in Journalism and Media from The University of Alabama.
